I built a tiny physical energy dashboard for my home EMS, so I can glance at solar, battery, heat pump and dynamic prices without reaching for my phone 😉. I ended up building it twice — once with a Nextion HMI display driven by a separate ESP32, and once with an all-in-one ESP32-2432S028R "Cheap Yellow Display" running ESPHome + LVGL. Here's how both came together.
